Eva and I crossed the US/Mexico border in Tecate and had a great first day of riding in Baja Mexico. We traveled through the wine region before making it to the Pacific Ocean at Ensenada. Then we headed further south to San Vicente and ended at Coyote Cals for a steak and lobster surprise. Did you ever imagine that you could go motorcycling in Baja from sea level to sky level in one day? In fact, you can do this ride in a single afternoon. Picacho del Diablo (Peak of the Devil) is the highest peak in Baja at an elevation of 10,157 feet. The peak is located in the Sierra de San Pedro Mártir which also happens to have a great motorcycling road leading up there.
