In the summer of 2025 I acquired a brand new Ducati Multistrada V2 900S for my backcountry explorations. Ducati of North America loaned me the bike for the year and I decided to put it to the test. My first ride took me into Colorado where I conquered several legendary roads including Stunner Pass, the Collegiate Peaks, Kebler Pass, Owl Creek Pass and Cinnamon Pass. This was a fantastic journey and the bike performed exceptionally well. I made a full video review of the motorcycle.
Later in the fall I rode the entire Arizona Backcountry Discovery Route from Mexico to Utah, including some of the harder sections. Again, the Ducati performed flawlessly and proved to be far more capable than I was on some of the more challenging terrain.
