Run Free – The True Story of Caballo Blanco

Run Free – The True Story of Caballo Blanco

Run Free is an award-winning documentary about a simple man with an authentic voice and a big dream. Micah True, or Caballo Blanco (The White Horse), was an ultra-runner from Boulder, CO who lived and ran with the Tarahumara (or Raramuri – Running People) in Mexico’s Copper Canyon. His lasting dream was the creation of the Copper Canyon Ultra Marathon, which was featured in the best-selling book “Born to Run – A Hidden Tribe, Super Athletes and the Greatest Race the World has Never Seen” by Christopher McDougall. Our film presents the true story of Caballo Blanco and his legacy of running with the Tarahumara.
